HISTORY: This minor ore is often found in copper mines near other minerals such as Malachite, Chrysocolla, and Azurite. The first and original crystal was spotted in Shattuck Mine in Arizona. This crystal is usually light blue and deep blue with darker shade streaks.

These are considered acicular crystals that are similar and resemble Plancheite stones and are often beside and surrounding other minerals such as malachite, chrysocolla, and azurite.
