Deep rose veined with black—the manganese and its oxides telling the same story in two colors.
Rhodonite is a manganese inosilicate (MnSiO3), its rose-to-red color produced by manganese in the crystal structure and its characteristic black veining by manganese oxide minerals that formed alongside it during hydrothermal activity. This sphere is cut and polished to bring both colors into full relief. Mohs hardness 5.5—6, substantial in the hand.
The mineral takes its name from the Greek word for rose, rhodon. First formally described from specimens found in Russia's Ural Mountains in the 1790s, it has since been documented across a wide range of localities including Australia, India, Brazil, and the United States. In the chakra tradition it is linked to both the heart and root chakras.
A display sphere for a shelf or desk—the black veining ensures no two pieces carry the same pattern.
Every crystal is hand-picked for exceptional beauty, quality and energetic integrity, then vortex-charged in Sedona’s sacred energy. This process infuses each piece with a high-frequency presence, delivering a crystal experience that feels as powerful as it looks.
