A hollow lined with gold—the stone reveals itself only when opened.
Citrine geodes begin as gas cavities in volcanic rock. Over millions of years, silica-rich groundwater seeps in and deposits successive quartz layers inward, building the crystal points you see here. Heat—whether from later geological activity or, in most commercial material, from slow kiln heating to 400–500°C—shifts the iron chemistry in amethyst toward citrine's warm amber. The flat base allows the geode to stand on its own, interior facing outward.
Citrine is the November birthstone, prized since antiquity by the Scots, Greeks, and Egyptians. In the chakra tradition, it is associated with the solar plexus, sacral, third eye, and root energy centers—a full-spectrum stone in the traditional framework.
A standing display piece for a desk, shelf, or altar—each one a different interior, shaped by its own geological history.
Every crystal is hand-picked for exceptional beauty, quality and energetic integrity, then vortex-charged in Sedona’s sacred energy. This process infuses each piece with a high-frequency presence, delivering a crystal experience that feels as powerful as it looks.
