Black beads, clean and uninterrupted around the wrist—the mineral's natural striations visible on each bead under direct light.
Black Tourmaline (Schorl) is a boron silicate mineral in the Tourmaline group, Mohs 7–7.5, its deep black color produced by iron content in the crystal structure. Schorl is the most abundant Tourmaline variety on earth; major deposits are found in Brazil, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Each bead in this bracelet shows the characteristic parallel striations of the Tourmaline prism on its surface.
Named for the Saxon village of Schorl in Germany, where the stone was recorded in the 15th century, and later traded across Europe by the Dutch East India Company. In metaphysical tradition it is linked to the root chakra and is among the most widely carried grounding and protective stones in contemporary practice.
An everyday bracelet for the collector who wants geological substance in a wearable form.
