Red corundum set inside green zoisite—two minerals sharing the same matrix.
Ruby-in-zoisite, also known as anyolite, is a naturally occurring combination mineral first discovered in 1949 near the foot of Kilimanjaro in the Longido mining district of Tanzania. The ruby is red corundum (aluminum oxide, Mohs 9), its color from chromium; the zoisite matrix is a calcium aluminum silicate (Mohs 6–7) in deep green, often with secondary black hornblende inclusions. These beads carry both minerals as they occur together in nature.
In the chakra tradition, ruby is linked to the root and heart chakras for vitality, while green zoisite connects to the heart chakra for growth and renewal. Together they are associated in practice with creative energy and inner strength.
A bracelet that carries genuine geological rarity—a combination that only forms under specific metamorphic conditions.
