Cream, terracotta, and sage in a bracelet built from the earth's own palette.
Imperial jasper is a microcrystalline quartz aggregate—silicon dioxide interlocked with clay minerals, iron oxides, and other mineral inclusions that produce its characteristic mottled, orb-patterned coloration. The name “imperial” is a trade designation; the material comes primarily from Jalisco, Mexico, and shows a distinctive pastel range of greens, pinks, creams, and warm terracotta. Mohs hardness 6.5 to 7. Jasper takes a fine polish due to its dense, fine-grained structure.
Jasper was used as a protective talisman throughout the ancient Mediterranean and Near East; priests of those cultures set it into rings and seals. In the root and solar plexus chakra tradition, jasper is associated with stability and grounded confidence.
A bracelet whose color range works with earth tones, natural textiles, and skin tones across the warm spectrum.
