A raw selenite point, drilled and strung — the stone’s natural form worn at the throat.
Selenite is gypsum — calcium sulfate dihydrate, Mohs 2 — that formed in evaporite basins as ancient mineral-rich water crystallized slowly over geological time. This piece retains the stone’s natural habit: the columnar, striated surface that shows how gypsum actually grows, rather than a polished form that erases that structure. It is drilled and comes strung on a cord, ready to wear. Selenite is soft enough to scratch against metal; avoid contact with hard jewelry. Do not wear in water or humid environments — gypsum is water-soluble.
Named for Selene, the Greek moon goddess, selenite has appeared in ceremonial and adornment contexts across ancient Egypt, Mesoamerica, and the Mediterranean. In the chakra tradition it is associated with the crown and third-eye chakras.
A raw, natural pendant for those who prefer the stone’s unworked form — no two are identical.
Every crystal is hand-picked for exceptional beauty, quality and energetic integrity, then vortex-charged in Sedona’s sacred energy. This process infuses each piece with a high-frequency presence, delivering a crystal experience that feels as powerful as it looks.
