A point of translucent gypsum that catches light as it moves through it.
Selenite is gypsum — calcium sulfate dihydrate — a mineral formed in evaporite basins where ancient inland seas slowly concentrated and crystallized. The stone is Mohs 2, notably soft, and its parallel crystal structure transmits light in a way that gives it a glowing, almost backlit quality. This pendulum is carved to a point and polished, the narrow end weighted to swing freely on its chain. Selenite cannot be submerged; brief contact with water is acceptable but prolonged exposure will dissolve the surface over time.
In the chakra tradition, selenite is associated with the crown and third-eye chakras and with calm clarity. The pendulum form has a long history in dowsing and reflective practice; the fine point of a selenite pendulum makes its movement easy to read.
A pendulum for divination practice or display — the light moves through it differently at every angle.
Every crystal is hand-picked for exceptional beauty, quality and energetic integrity, then vortex-charged in Sedona’s sacred energy. This process infuses each piece with a high-frequency presence, delivering a crystal experience that feels as powerful as it looks.
