Rose-red stone with veins of black manganese running through it like old rivers.
Rhodonite is a manganese inosilicate mineral with Mohs hardness 5.5–6.5. Its deep rose-to-red color comes from manganese, and the characteristic black veining is oxidized manganese dendrites—geology written visibly on the surface. First described from the Ural Mountains of Russia in the 1790s, rhodonite has since been found in India, Mexico, Sweden, Madagascar, Australia, South Africa, Brazil, Canada, and the United States. This stone is set in a Cranston-style solid .925 sterling silver pendant.
Rhodonite is linked in the chakra tradition to the heart and root chakras. Across metaphysical practice it is associated with compassion, self-acceptance, and courage—particularly for those working through periods of change or difficulty.
A pendant with genuine visual depth—no two stones share the same black pattern.
