A calcium carbonate bowl, cut into a heart—pale and translucent at the edges.
Aragonite is a polymorph of calcite: same chemical formula (CaCO₃), different crystal structure. Where calcite is trigonal, aragonite is orthorhombic, giving it a different cleavage pattern and slightly higher density. Mohs hardness 3.5–4. It named in 1790 after the Aragon province of Spain, where it was first scientifically described—though the mineral occurs worldwide in sedimentary and marine environments, often forming the shells of mollusks and corals. This piece is shaped into a heart form with a flat base, suitable for use as a dish or display piece.
In the root chakra and third-eye tradition, Aragonite is associated with steadiness and clear perception. Ancient lapidary traditions linked the stone to dispelling confusion and establishing a grounded view of circumstance.
A small, useful heart-shaped bowl in a mineral with a defined geological identity.
Every crystal is hand-picked for exceptional beauty, quality and energetic integrity, then vortex-charged in Sedona’s sacred energy. This process infuses each piece with a high-frequency presence, delivering a crystal experience that feels as powerful as it looks.
