A strand of black mineral light—each microbead faceted so the necklace catches light despite the stone's opacity.
Black Tourmaline (Schorl) is a boron silicate mineral, Mohs 7–7.5. Despite being opaque rather than translucent, the facets on each microbead catch direct light and produce a subtle surface shimmer—the effect is understated but present, unlike a smooth bead which reads as pure matte black. The beads are strung collar-length. Major sources for gem-quality Schorl are Brazil, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.
Named for the Saxon village of Schorl in 15th-century Germany and later traded widely by the Dutch East India Company. In metaphysical tradition it is linked to the root chakra and to grounding and shielding—it is one of the most consistently carried protective stones in contemporary crystal practice.
A necklace that wears as minimal dark jewelry and carries the mineral's geological depth.
Every crystal is hand-picked for exceptional beauty, quality and energetic integrity, then vortex-charged in Sedona’s sacred energy. This process infuses each piece with a high-frequency presence, delivering a crystal experience that feels as powerful as it looks.
