A warm gold oval at the center of a solid silver band—the November birthstone in its most direct form.
Citrine is iron-bearing silicon dioxide (SiO&sub2;), its amber color produced by ferric iron in the crystal lattice through natural or induced geological heat. This faceted oval stone is set in solid .925 sterling silver; the cut multiplies the stone’s internal refraction, so the amber deepens at the center and pales toward the edges as light moves through. Mohs hardness 7—appropriate for daily ring wear with normal care.
Citrine was worked into ornamental rings by Scottish, Greek, and Egyptian craftspeople centuries before it was classified mineralogically. As the traditional November birthstone it appears in virtually every era of jewelry history. In contemporary practice it is linked to the solar plexus chakra and to self-confidence and clarity in purpose.
A birthstone ring with genuine geological color—wearable every day, giftable for any November birthday.
