Two minerals locked together—one earthy green, one quietly purple.
Atlantisite is Serpentine and Stichtite in combination, named commercially but also known as Tasmanite after the Tasmanian deposits where the material was first described. Serpentine is a magnesium silicate, soft (Mohs 3–4), formed when olivine-rich rock undergoes hydrothermal metamorphism. Stichtite is a hydrated magnesium-chromium carbonate that develops in the same environment, responsible for the stone’s purple zones. This pendant is set in solid .925 sterling silver.
In the heart and crown chakra tradition, the combination is associated with the integration of earthly groundedness and expansive perspective—Serpentine for the former, Stichtite for the latter.
A pendant for collectors who want the geological story behind the stone.
