The orbicular surface of ocean jasper reads like a cross-section of the earth itself—circle upon circle, color within color.
Ocean jasper is a spherulitic chalcedony—despite the trade name, it is not technically a jasper. It forms as microcrystalline silica precipitates radially outward from nucleation points, producing the distinctive round orbicular patterning visible on polished surfaces. Found exclusively along the remote northwest coast of Madagascar, it is exposed and collected only at low tide, which limits supply. The color palette—greens, pinks, whites, creams, and yellows—varies with trace mineral content in each locality. This freeform piece has a flat base and stands on its own.
In the chakra tradition, ocean jasper is associated with the heart chakra and regarded as a stone of patience and perspective. Its Madagascar origin connects it to one of the world's most mineralogically significant islands, a major source of tourmaline, beryl, and rare minerals.
A sculptural display piece for any surface. The freeform shape means each piece is genuinely one of a kind.
Every crystal is hand-picked for exceptional beauty, quality and energetic integrity, then vortex-charged in Sedona’s sacred energy. This process infuses each piece with a high-frequency presence, delivering a crystal experience that feels as powerful as it looks.
