Unakite is a metamorphic rock composed of epidote (green), pink feldspar (orthoclase), and quartz; its mottled green-salmon pattern is geological rather than decorative, the result of hydrothermal alteration. Primary deposits in the United States, particularly Virginia. Chrysoprase is nickel-bearing green chalcedony, one of the rarer green gem minerals, prized for its translucent apple-green. Rose quartz is the pink massive variety of silicon dioxide, colored by trace titanium or manganese, here in two forms—a point and a bracelet—threading the same blush tone through the entire set. Included: a unakite heart, a chrysoprase specimen, a rose quartz point, and a rose quartz bracelet.

All four stones connect to heart-centered chakra traditions: unakite to the heart chakra and to patience; chrysoprase to the heart chakra and fresh starts; rose quartz, in both forms, to unconditional love and gentle self-regard in the tradition that has carried it since Hellenistic times.

Selenite is a crystalline form of gypsum (calcium sulfate dihydrate, CaSO&sub4;·2H&sub2;O), Mohs 2, with a distinctive fiber-optic luminescence and a silky, striated cleavage surface. It is one of the few minerals that is not itself piezoelectric yet is consistently used to reset the energy field of other stones in lapidary tradition. White sage (Salvia apiana) is native to the coastal sage scrub of Southern California and Baja; it has been burned as a purifying smoke in Indigenous North American ceremonies for documented centuries. The kit includes a selenite wand or slab and a bundle of dried white sage.
