A sphere of pink quartz with a six-pointed star cut into its surface — geometry layered onto one of the world’s oldest adornment stones.
Rose quartz is quartz whose soft pink color derives from microscopic fibrous inclusions — most likely dumortierite — diffused through the silica structure. The inclusions scatter light through the stone rather than transmitting it cleanly, giving rose quartz its milky, even color. This piece is cut and polished into a sphere, then faceted with a six-rayed star on one face. Mohs 7. The sphere is a lapidary form that has been used to display stone since antiquity — the continuous surface has no top or bottom, and every angle of the stone reads differently. Major sources: Brazil, Madagascar, South Africa.
Rose quartz beads have been found in Mesopotamian sites dating to approximately 7000 BCE. In the chakra tradition, rose quartz is the stone of the heart chakra. The six-pointed star is a geometric symbol used across Jewish, Islamic, Hindu, and esoteric traditions.
A collectible display piece — the star face makes this a cut above a plain sphere.
Every crystal is hand-picked for exceptional beauty, quality and energetic integrity, then vortex-charged in Sedona’s sacred energy. This process infuses each piece with a high-frequency presence, delivering a crystal experience that feels as powerful as it looks.
