Selenite is fibrous gypsum (CaSO&sub4;·2H&sub2;O), Mohs 2, with a luminous silky surface and the lightest weight of any stone in this set. Howlite is a calcium borosilicate hydroxide, naturally white with gray veining; its porous surface accepts dye readily, which is why it frequently stands in commercially for turquoise—but its undyed form is quietly striking on its own. Rainbow moonstone is a white labradorite feldspar that produces a blue-white adularescence when light hits its twinned layers; major deposits in India and Sri Lanka. Clear quartz is the optically clearest form of silicon dioxide, hardness 7, grown in hydrothermal veins and prized across every lapidary tradition on earth. Included: a selenite wand, a howlite tumbled stone, a rainbow moonstone specimen, and a clear quartz point.

Selenite is a crystalline form of gypsum (calcium sulfate dihydrate, CaSO&sub4;·2H&sub2;O), Mohs 2, with a distinctive fiber-optic luminescence and a silky, striated cleavage surface. It is one of the few minerals that is not itself piezoelectric yet is consistently used to reset the energy field of other stones in lapidary tradition. White sage (Salvia apiana) is native to the coastal sage scrub of Southern California and Baja; it has been burned as a purifying smoke in Indigenous North American ceremonies for documented centuries.
