Two minerals sharing a single stone—olive serpentine shot through with purple Stichtite.
Atlantisite is the trade name for the combination of Serpentine and Stichtite found together in situ—also called Tasmanite after Tasmania, where the first notable material emerged. Serpentine is a magnesium silicate formed by the hydrothermal alteration of ultramafic rock; Stichtite is a chromium-bearing carbonate that grows in the same geological environment, producing its distinctive lilac-to-purple color. This pendant pairs an Atlantisite cabochon with an Amethyst accent, set in solid .925 sterling silver.
In the heart and crown chakra tradition, Atlantisite is associated with patience and inner steadiness. Serpentine carries a long history in grounding practices; Stichtite, rarer and harder to find, adds its own character to the composite.
A teardrop or oval pendant for the wearer drawn to stones with layered mineral identity.
